Is it true that putting on my stockings is difficult?

Are you having trouble putting on your socks? Don't worry, a little resistance is actually a sign they're providing just the right amount of compression! If a compression sock is easy to put on, it has less than 30 mmHg of compression, and injury prevention is not guaranteed. Our medically certified PRO socks offer graduated compression from 32 mmHg at the ankle to 23 mmHg at the knee. This ensures optimal injury prevention, improved blood circulation, and rapid removal of toxins.

Did you know that you can put on our tubes more easily using a sandwich bag? Here's a step-by-step explanation:

  1. Preparation
Take a sandwich bag and pull it over your foot. Make sure the bag fits snugly around your foot without too much air or wrinkles.
  2. Turn the stocking inside out :
Place your hand inside the stocking and turn the Herzog compression stocking inside out, all the way to the heel. This way, only the foot portion remains in its original position.
  3. To put on : Slide your foot (with the sandwich bag wrapped around it) into the tube. Then slowly and evenly guide the tube up your ankle. (The sandwich bag ensures that the tube slides easily over your foot without too much resistance.)
  4. Removing the bag:
Once the tube is securely fitted over your foot and ankle, remove the sachet.
  5. Pull up the stocking further :
Guide the stocking further up to just below the knee.

Having trouble taking off your compression socks?

Due to the high compression and close-fitting design, Herzog compression socks can be slightly more difficult to remove than regular sports socks. It is precisely this firm compression that provides targeted support during exercise and recovery. With the correct technique, removal becomes much easier and prevents unnecessary stretching of the sock. Therefore, view our handy removal instructions for a step-by-step explanation.
