HYROX is rapidly conquering the world of functional fitness. It combines running with functional exercises in a fixed pattern, in which endurance, strength and strategy come together. A race consists of 8 kilometers of running, alternating with 8 workouts such as sled push, wall balls and farmers carry. Sounds tough? It is. But with the right preparation - and the right material - you can really make a difference.
What exactly is HYROX?
HYROX is an indoor racing format that is organized worldwide. Each participant completes the same course:
- 1 km run
- 1 functional exercise
- And you repeat that 8 times
The unique thing about HYROX is that it is accessible for recreational athletes and competitively challenging for athletes. It combines running with strength so that your body is heavily loaded, especially your lower legs.
