What does padel demand from your feet?
Unlike running, in padel you constantly move in all directions. You accelerate forward, step backward, and make many lateral movements. Your feet and ankles must continuously absorb, stabilize, and correct. During the game, you push off explosively, land differently each time, and must immediately react to the next ball. It is precisely this combination of quick changes in direction and repeated stress that places a lot of strain on the feet, ankles, and calves.
Where do complaints arise?
Due to this repetition, padel players often experience:
- tired feet
- irritation under the foot
- mild ankle instability
This usually doesn't result from a single moment, but from fatigue that builds up during play.
